Although climbing Kilimanjaro does not require any skills in mountaineering, this is a tough hike and a unique adventure. During the day you’ll enjoy the views as the group moves ever closer to Africa’s highest point. At night you camp at prepared camp sites and enjoy food prepared on site by your chef. There are several trails up to the top. Which one suits you best?
Machame (9 days). The most popular trail. Very beautiful, but also challenging. Best suited for those who already have some experience of long and tough hikes.
Lemosho (8–10 days). Very beautiful trail that passes many places with magnificent views of different parts of the surrounding landscape. Less challenging than Machame.
Marangu (5–7 days). The easiest and shortest trail up to the top. With seven days of hiking instead of five, the chances of making it all the way up increase.
Northern Circuit (9 days). The longest and newest trail, where you walk around the whole mountain and get to experience the view in all directions.
