Welcome to Tanzania – The Journey Begins
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your private Steven&Friends guide will greet you with a warm welcome and assist you to your accommodations for the night.
Enjoy a peaceful evening to rest and recover from your flight — tomorrow, your romantic journey through Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes begins. From here, the road will take you through lush highlands, crater rims, and endless savannahs toward the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 2
After breakfast, your private Steven&Friends guide will take you on a scenic overland journey through the lush Ngorongoro Highlands, heading toward the legendary Serengeti.
En route, you may choose to stop at Olduvai Gorge, the world-famous archaeological site known as the “Cradle of Mankind” — a brief but fascinating glimpse into early human history.
Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery, with views stretching across the open plains and valleys.
By afternoon, arrive at your romantic safari camp in the heart of the Serengeti. Settle in, relax, and prepare for your first night under the stars.
Day 3
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and set out for a full-day game drive across the iconic Serengeti plains. With your expert Steven&Friends guide, you’ll track Africa’s legendary Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo — and witness the rhythms of nature unfold in every direction.
Stop for a relaxed bush picnic lunch in a shaded spot, surrounded by the vast savannah.

Day 4
Wake to the soft light of dawn and the sounds of the Serengeti coming to life. Begin your day with an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise — drifting silently above the plains as the world awakens below. Day 5
After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the Serengeti as your journey continues eastward. En route, you have the option to descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa.
Here, you’ll enjoy a guided game drive through the crater floor, where lions, elephants, flamingos, and possibly even rhinos roam beneath steep, ancient walls.
By afternoon, you’ll ascend the crater and make your way to the peaceful town of Karatu, where your lodge awaits. The evening is yours to relax and reflect on the unforgettable days gone by.
Day 6
Enjoy a peaceful breakfast in Karatu before your transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
