Day 1
Welcome to Tanzania!
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where a Steven&Friends representative will warmly welcome you.
After a one-hour drive to Arusha, enjoy a cultural stop at the Cultural Heritage Centre and an inspiring visit to the Shanga Foundation, before a relaxed lunch at the serene Arusha Coffee Lodge.
Continue with a scenic 2.5-hour drive through the Great Rift Valley toward the highlands of Karatu. Arrive by late afternoon, settle into your lodge, and unwind as your Great Migration Safari begins.
Day 2
After breakfast, set out through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the legendary Serengeti. Along the way, you may choose to stop at the historic Olduvai Gorge (optional; entrance fee not included) — one of the world’s most significant archaeological sites, often called the cradle of humankind.
Your adventure continues with a game drive across the endless plains of Central Serengeti. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and countless other wildlife as you journey toward your safari camp — your home in the wild.
Day 3
Embark on a breathtaking drive into the remote Northern Serengeti, traveling toward Kogatende, the very heart of the Mara River crossings. As the scenery shifts from endless plains to dramatic riverbanks, watch for giraffes, elephants, and big cats along the way.

Day 4

Day 5
Journey back from the northern plains to the heart of the Serengeti, renowned for its abundant wildlife and thriving populations of big cats. Along the way, enjoy a game drive through sweeping savannahs, with every turn offering new encounters.

Day 6
Depart Central Serengeti on a scenic journey toward Karatu, with the option to descend into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater (additional fees apply). This UNESCO World Heritage Site, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World, offers one final opportunity for extraordinary game viewing within its dramatic volcanic caldera.
As you continue your drive, enjoy the changing landscapes and a last glimpse of the wilderness before reaching your lodge for a restful evening.
Day 7
After breakfast, take a scenic drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). For international departures, we recommend flights after 5 PM to allow ample travel time.
If your flight departs earlier, we can arrange a day room or overnight stay in Arusha (available at an additional cost), complete with lunch and time to relax before your journey home.
